Bought a new 2013 F-150 XLT Supercrew 4x4 3.5l TT 157" WB in Ingot Silver a few days ago. It's a big upgrade over my old truck that I bought new 22 years ago -- an F-150 XLT Supercab 4x4 with 5sp manual and I6 4.9l.
My typical usage is about a 10 mile work commute with a few 100 to 200 mile fishing/camping/hunting trips a month. For now, I won't be towing anything, but may tow a utility trailer or boat (~4500 lbs) in the future.
Some things I'm looking to add to the truck include installing a canopy, a CB and antenna (required on some of the logging roads where I hunt), and maybe some wheel guards.
This looks to be a good forum to discuss and share ideas.
