Well, I finally gave in after a year's worth of pleading and a great report card.

I'll explain. My youngest daughter is a dirt bike demon...I mean she literally flies on her bike. Scares the crap out of me sometimes, but she's a natural. She got a late start, didn't get on a bike until she was 7, so she was in fast forward ever since.

She has wanted a truck ever since she got behind the wheel of my buggy, which she drives equally as well as her bike.

Without thinking, and around a late night camp fire, (she was on a roll, letting me know just how much she "Needed" a truck to haul her bike) I told her that I'd buy her a used truck ....WHEN she got her license, and IF she got straight A's.

Guess what...? Last report card was up to snuff and she held me to my word.

I did my best to spend as little as possible and not buy into someone else's nightmare.

I think we did OK.

I do get to drive it for a while though ....she'll be getting her license next month

And finding this site was a big plus - we've already done a couple of mods.

Of course my son-in-law had to one up her...


...he came home in a brand spankin' new 2011 F350 Dually on Friday.
