New From Ohio
Thought I should do an intro: I just bought a 04 F150 XLT Supercab cab 4WD with a 5.4..
I had a Tacoma that I traded in for the F150, because I needed something to tow with. I worked at the Newark P.D. and did vehicle maintenance, outfitting, and maintaining all of the cruisers, and other vehicles.
Crown Vic's made me a believer in Ford, amazing what a cruiser goes through and still keeps on going !!! While not big on the power side, the 4.6 gets abused daily for well over 100K, and keeps going. Made me a believer in the modular engines.
I've drag raced, and ridden motorcycles my whole life, I retired 2 years ago, and last summer rode my Vstrom to the west coast on/off Rt66, it was a "bucket list" thing for me. I currently have a 88 Camaro backhalf car with a 496 BBC, powerglide, 9" rear..
Anyway, all I could afford was a used truck, and found one at the local Toyota dealer, now i'm an owner..So far so good
Looks like a great forum..Sorry for the long winded intro
Thanks
