Hey everyone!!
I just sold my DMAX a couple of weeks ago and I'm on the lookout for a gasser. I used to have a boat ,sold it, and my next boat could be pulled my my subaru outback, so I don't need diesel power. I've got a couple of trucks I'm looking at (6.2 Silverado, Tundra, F150 5.0) and I just wanted to come on here and lurk a little and get as much info as possible. I test drove a couple of trucks so far..
Tundra---sweet ride, lots of power, real quick off the line (4.10 gears)
Dodge--hemi was pretty sweet, but I've heard too many horror stories, not to mention it looks like a ton of plastic everywhere
Chevy- I'm a chevy person, and the 5.3 was horrible. I pressed on the gas and ....nothing.. I've heard good things about the 6.2 but haven't driven it yet.
I haven't driven the Ford yet (5.0) but thats next on the list.. Anyway, I'll try to do lots of searching before I post anything
