Just bought a barely used 2012 F150 Super Crew EcoBoost 4x4. Previous truck (traded in on the Ford) was a 2012 Ram Hemi 4x4 and prior to that one I had an 07 Ram Cummins. I also had an 08 F150 5.4 V8.
Before buying the EcoBoost I also test drove an identical truck with a 5.0 V8....well, I liked the torque (no downshifts going uphill) of the EcoBoost. Kind of reminds me of my Cummins a little bit.
Now I have to start with personalization. First on the agenda is a navigation unit. I've been reading here and I am considering the Rosen/Car Show direct fit unit. The reviews are somewhat mixed so I am still undecided, although, the price is unbeatable at $450.00 from Crutchfield.
