Hi my name is Randy & i am a new member. hopefully i can find answers for issues on my truck! . I have 87000 mi on truck & now having transmission issues. It started when in Towhaul & when down shifting it would get to 4th & skip to 2nd & rev horribly. Then when stopped at stop light & engine would shut off, when it started back up transmission would engage at same time & make a huge clunk! Then it started the same when putting in reverse. took it in & they replace some valve in transmission & other work. A week later its back worse than ever! Today driving at highway speed it dropped to 5th back to 8th then to 1st & back to 10th. pulled over & called dealership & told them wrench light is on. they just said we replaced alot of parts it should work. finally convinced them it needs to be seen asap. Last f150 I owned same light came on & smoked the transmission . any advice would be helpfull. Thx RJ

Welcome from another '17 owner! If the trans fluid has never been serviced I would start there just for peace of mind and while draining pull a sample to send off for analysis. Unfortunately without known more there are a lot of things it could be. My area of experience is not the greatest with trannies and rear ends, so my message is more of a welcome than anything.
