New Member, Old Truck
Dad gave me his 1988 Ford Custom (4 speed, 6 cyl, 105,000 miles) after moving off his acreage.
Blew out front passenger side brake line hauling scrap for him, barely got the truck home, but glad I did.
Love driving a stick again.
replaced front right brake line & hose,(Thanks O'Rilley's ) need a spare tire before i'll take it back on the road,
it has the fuel tank issue with the front tank overfilling, and radio has power but doesn't work.
Heading to junkyard today.
Minimal rust, cab corners, surface rust on doors, rust holes on bed wheel wells.
I've got a 1992 Explorer and the Explorer forums have been a great resource for keeping that running.
