New Member Looking for Help
Greetings, all.
I host an online radio show, Cars, Trucks and Bucks on TalkZone.com http://www.talkzone.com/shows/199/Ca...sAndBucks.html , and next week's show will be about the 2015 F-150.
I will be interviewing Pete Reyes, the chief engineer for the truck, and Richard Truett, a reporter for trade publication Automotive News who has written a lot about the new truck.
I'm looking for F-150 owners who have heard/read about the 2015 F-150 and would be willing to talk on-air about what you like about the new truck, what you're worried about (particularly the aluminum), any questions you have and whether you would buy the truck in its first year.
I'd need 5-10 minutes of your time between now and Tuesday when we could talk by phone and I could record the interview. I'm looking for current F-150 owners who have no direct connection to Ford or indirect (such as working for a dealer), but just have something to say about the 2015 F-150 pro, con or in between.
Hope I'm not out of order asking for this help here. Anyone interested please let me know here or to Rick@CarsTrucksBucks.com.
Thanks.

Can you ask them if they would consider offering the truck with street and off-road tires. It kind of drives me nuts that I pay $41,000 for truck have to go spend another $1000 on a set off-road tires a week later because the only truck they offer with off-road tires is the raptor.
Can you clarify your question?
Ford lists "all-terrain" tires as standard and optional in different sizes for 4x4s. They aren't the same size and may not be as capable off-road as the Raptor's tires, but they are described as all-terrain.
In addition, the unique tires on the Raptor help justify its price and to help it stand apart from the others.

I sometimes work on new construction sites that are very muddy and the stock all-terrain are not aggressive enough to drive through light mud, they cake up and turn in this slicks very quickly. I wish Ford would offer a upgrade at the dealership at the time of delivery to a more aggressive tire like the one on the raptor. I checked the prices and sizes available in the same size tire that's on my truck, there is a $20 difference between the stock tires and the BFG all-terrain TA KO, I would like the option when I pick up my 2015 to go to a more aggressive tire at a slight up charge at the time of purchase then have to go out and spend $1000 the week after i buy the truck and have a set of tires sitting around going to waste!!! Ford markets these trucks to the working-class construction workers and doesn't offer a upgraded tire option for them.

Thanks, Milkman. That explains it.
I will ask Pete Reyes, the chief engineer, or someone else from Ford when I see them at the Chicago Auto Show later this week.
Can you send me a PM or contact me at Rick@CarsTrucksBucks.com with more information about what you own now and whether you're planning on buying a 2015?
Thanks.
