Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm new to Ford Trucks and I'm in my late 30's... (never thought I'd own a Ford Truck, have always been a Honda guy)... don't hold that Honda part against me. Anyways, I came across a really beaten on 1998 Ford F-150 with a 4.6L V8, manual transmission and four wheel drive. I'm new to Fords but I'm already in love with this one even though it looks terrible right now. I've already ordered everything I need to re-paint it black and will slowly work through all of the small issues as I go. Currently, the 4x4 doesn't work because the shift linkage "bar" fell off and I'm unable to test it out. The engine sounds healthy and runs strong. The transmission runs smooth with no noise as well. It's a single cab, short bed with stepside.

Just wanted to say hello before combing the forums for information on some small issues.
