hi all. new member,. been browsing for a while over the last year as i search for 5.4L F150 engine issues. yup, my '05 SCab 5.4 XLT finally having the cam phaser issues. i've milked the truck for 16 years now. not much mileage since it was only a primary vehicle for about half its life. anyhoo, i'll be doing more reading and hopefully commenting on future F150s. looking at a new/used 2017+ model now, but going for SCREW this time. well, off to the late model F150 forum to chime in there. to all those that are active and those that are Ford mechanics that chime in, you make this forum great.
