New member here. Have browsed the forums for some time and finally decided to join.
Recently had this intermittent noise from the front of my truck. Happened once every 6 weeks or so, and lasted only 15-30 secs. Happened when in 2WD. Took it to a Ford dealer and they could not replicate the noise. Finally captured it on video. After a few days in the shop they figured out it was the hub loosing vacuum- they could not replicate the sound but from sharing the video an engineer recognized the sound. Wanted to share in case anyone else is having a similar problem.
