Hey guys. New here and don't think my 98 F150 is picture worthy yet. It overheated because the heater tube at the rear of the intake manifold broke off or rotted off whichever. I got a new tube and just got the manifold off last Fri. and there is no remnant of the old tube in the manifold but I'm trying to figure out how to install the new tube. I tried using an old broken 1/2" drive extension but it seems that its too soft. Wondering if anyone here has had to do this and what they used or how they did it. I will be amazed if this is all that happened as there is no water in the oil or oil in the water so I'm optimistic that if I can get this fixed the truck will run again and I really need the truck.
