Hello: Mike from Arlington, TX. F150 STX. 5.0. Step rail, nice wheels. That's about all I could afford. 1st Ford truck. I hope I like it. I just picked it up last Thursday and the fan noise is driving me crazy. It really is embarrassing. I have to turn off the motor at drive-thrus.

I'm 65. Do my own mechanical work for the most part. Am upgrading my lights to auto. I failed to ask the salesman and was amazed to find they were manual. I didn't think anything over 20k had manual lights. Shame on Ford.

So I guess I got off to a bad start with this truck. Hopefully things will improve.

Hope I can contribute to this forum and not only take away. Time will tell.
