New kid on the block
Hey guys! Jake here! I'm 17 and still don't have a truck....or a car at that matter. Old chinese proverb once said. "A man ain't nothing if he hasn't got a truck".....ok maybe more of a country saying.....anyhow. I come from an off-roading background. Four wheelers, dirt bikes and even 3-wheelers. My dream truck as a child was the 96-ish give or take f-250 body style with the wide mirrors. For some reason that attracted me. First reall introduction to Ford trucks is the 1977 Ford 350 custom dually dumptruck my Dad bought. It has a carbed 400 big block V8 manual 4speed. A friend has an 96-ish F150 XL 5 speed manual 4x4 straight 6 he might sell next spring and I'm wanting to buy it. It's the perfect truck for what I need. reason I joined was I was looking for mods. Exhaust, plugs, plug wires, air-intakes that sort of thing. Can't wait to look around the forums and hopefully enjoy my first truck!
