Hi!

I am going to attempt to learn how to be a do-it-yourself kinda gal when it comes to my truck. I don't know alot other than the basics (put gas in it, change my oil, wash it, etc.) So, I figured the best bet would be to join a forum and pick the brains of those who know what they are talking about. First item on the list will be how to get my iPod to play through the factory stereo... if that is most cost effective. I bought my truck used and there is some wiring already behind/under the back seat that runs up under the steering wheel in the front. Time to start looking to see if I can use what I already have or see what I would need to buy to get where I want to be.

I've already read a little about the FRD04-aux converter, but it seems there are a few factors in play (i.e., RSE capabilities, AUX button vs. SAT button, and lots of other things I have seen mentioned.) As for the cables I found under the backseat, not sure what they are from or what they were used for. I am assuming maybe an amp or sub was under or behind the seat?? Who knows. Time to do some research...
