Default New here from NC

Hey y’all. I’m in the market for my first F-150. Seems like a wealth of knowledge here for how to use my truck soon to be new truck. Still need to make “the deal”. Can’t wait. My old man had a 1987 F-150 so I have fond memories. They are MUCH different now though. Wow. I live in the Raleigh area, but was born and raised in Southern Ontario. Cheers!

Hi. I live in Raleigh, and purchased my truck used a few months ago. I did a lot research, this is my first truck and first f150. One thing that I noticed in researching used truck listings is that listings on craigslist in NC were typically $8k-$10k higher than listings for nearly the same truck (miles/model/trim/etc) in TX. I think it was definitely worth the road trip to TX to pick up my truck, saved a bunch of money, and cool road trip towing back my rice burner.

Wow man. That’s fantastic. Then drove it back. I didn’t even think of that. You’re right too as prices here for used stuff isn’t cheap. I looked and seemed it made more sense to look new. Thank you for the suggestion.
