Hey EvoX,
Quick change of subject but where did you mount your carputer?

I have a voompc2 enclosure, got it all built and running centrafuse but the only spot i can find room to mount it is under the back seats in my 06 fx4.... would prefer not to do such long cables runs as i have gps, wifi, obd2, plus my RCA cables for audio.... looking for input on where you have yours mounted?

I have 2 carputers (dont ask why) but one is new and the other is in my Evo. I never had one in my f150 though. Sorry. But im running centrafuse as well.

But here is some advice, place the carputer wherever you can find an ac outlet so it can keep cool. I cant quite remember the interior of mine, but in my X I just put it under my driverside seat.

What are you using to log your parameters via OBDll? JW

Thanks for the advice. Luckily the spot under the back seats is directly in front of the vents in the rear, so that should work nicely

I tried checking under both front seats but theres just not enough room, also was thinking about replacing the glove box with the enclosure but im slightly short for space there as well. I have a VGA extension and USB hub + extension and a serial extension... i just didnt want to use them if i didnt have to

The version of centrafuse im using already has a built in plug in for OBD2

Im working on creating my own front end using WPF and VS.net, but its a long term project as i dont have alot of spare time lately, so centrafuse was my temporary solution
