I didn't realize they were both considered tritons. Still learning this here Ford thing. Good luck ontracking down that tick.

The only difference between Triton and Windsor is the engine plant they were made at. Triton were made in Michigan, Windsor in Ontario.

Yeah, I've got the 5.4L with a tick too. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it is exhaust manifold that is most commonly the problem.
