I'm new to the site and live in Central PA... been a chevy guy (still am) on other sites...

Just picked up this 04 fx4 and love driving it...

I do have a question, i'll post here and in the appropriate section.. When I make a left turn and accelerate it shudders a little. Is that the limitied slip acting up? Think it needs fluid and an additive. This truck was only driven 4K miles a year for the last 4 years...

I think the shudder is te LS clutch packs... so be it..

TSB 06-4-4 talks about it...

I just got the truck inspected, Amsoil 5W-20, fuel filter, Wix oil filter, air filter and some items to detail it... Also picked up three quarts of Lucas synthetic gear lube and additive for the rear... amazing how fast the price adds up...

Well, I sold that FX4, deployed to Afghanistan and then came home to a family Silverado for the last three years.

Just picked up this 2011 XLT and love the room and power of the 5.0L...

 

Here was my 2004 from the first post, I added the level kit and Raptor rims and tires... too many issues though with that 2004 engine, plus a pesky sunroof leak... Sold it with 60K miles for the same price I bought it for 3 years earlier.
