New guy from Ohio
New guy here. Just bought my first Ford. 95 F150 2wd I6 5 speed. Never been into Fords, but I love driving stick shift and its hard to find Chevys with them. I've always known these trucks were pretty bulletproof and there are lots of them for sale in my area, so I jumped on one.
It has a little under 140,000 miles and has tons of rust! Luckily the frame is still solid. I've replaced all 4 ball joints, u joints, wheel bearings, and front springs. Still need to replace the front spring tower and radius arm due to rust. Losts of stuff was already replaced like the other spring tower, rear spring shackles, brake lines, wheel cylinders, and clutch. The engine didn't need anything besides some vacuum lines. I'm pretty sure the slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder was replaced with the clutch, but I am leeing brake fluid leaking into the cab from the master cylinder. Hopefully the slave cylinder isn't bad also, haven't had a chance to look at it. Luckily it is still driveable, just almost impossible to get it into first gear so I just start off in second usually.
Hopefully once I get everything else up to par, I can get atleast another 100,000 out of it with no major issues.
