Hey all, my names Jayson, I'm 19 yrs old. I stumbled across this site and thought it would be a great place to spend time and learn about my soon to be new truck, a 2001.5 F150 XLT. It's a white crew cab with only 28,000 miles on it, I'm buying it from my dad who is getting a 2010 platinum. The truck is mint, only taken on gravel a handful of times and the rest is all pavement miles. My dad is a 30 yr Ford technician, so it was taken care of right for sure and I have been around the truck since it was new.
A lil about me, I obviously have been around vehicles my whole life and am a pretty good mechanic myself, so I know how to do whatever I want and do all my own work. I work at a local GM dealership as the s**t work guy, oil changes, tire service, and whatever else they tell me to do. I am currently going to college for Information Systems at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks(go Sioux!). I race harescrambles with my dirt bike, I ride snowmobile for fun along with my Virago street bike in the summer.
Basic plans for the truck are a true dual Magnaflow exhaust immediately, a AEM brute force intake system, 35% tint all around, and possibly a Superchips Cortex programmer. Thanks for doing the long read and look to see more of me on here!
