Hey guys just been looking around trying to find a good forum for these trucks.

I own a 1989 f150 with the 5.0. That I have inherited from my grandpa. Gonna be my project truck to make somewhat faster.

Right now im just trying to get some maintenance stuff done to it as it has sat alot the last 10 years that it's been here in az. Had 93k when it made it to AZ and now has 129k My goal is to also restore the truck along with some mods.

List of stuff I want to get done (not in any particular order):
Long tube headers
Delete smog stuff (i've passed in az without this stuff before)
Heads
Roller assembly stuff for the engine.
HO cam
Maf conversion
Valve body with OD lock out from silverfoxtrans
Deep pan for AOD
Haven't decided if I will level the truck out or do a 3/4 drop
Might do some sort of Forced Induction either turbo or supercharger.

Welcome to the forum nice truck. The 5.0 is a awesome engine so many things you can do with it. You plan on loosening the truck cap?

 

Thanks man. Truck needs a paint job as the clear coat is gone. Also probably not going to get rid of the cap, I like the old man look of the truck LOL
