New guy from Illinois sorta
Hey everyone I've been lurking for awhile but finally decided to sign up and post.
I use to own a 2002 Ford Ranger but recently upgraded to a 05 f150 super crew FX4, with absolutely no regrets!
Here is a picture of my old ranger

and here is my new ride.

And now i have a few questions
First question is I've noticed i have a rough idle when at a stoplight or just in park. The strange thing is my tach and rpms dont really jump at all and my scangauge shows that its not doing much variations other then like 10 to 15 rpm. From the research I've done online it seems to be a pretty common issue and most people have said that Ford Designed it to have a low idle which consequently gives it a rough shake to it.... surely that can't be true and their has to be a way to increase the idle speed with out a tuner???
Second question. As you can see my Flares are kinda faded I'm wondering what applications anyone here might use to bring them back to life or if i should just paint them.
and my last question for now is whose truck is this!
I want to know what his wheel/tires, and lift setup is b/c its perfect!

for the idle, You should have an adjustment screw either on the petal or the throttle body.
for the fenders, Best thing to do is pull em off and hit them with some paint, or just buy new ones. They sell some products to help shine up plastics but in my personal experience, once plastic fades, it cant really be saved. (unless painted)
Finally that truck on the bottom looks like a 5" suspension lift and 35's
