Hey all, new guy here from IL, my names Paul and I recently bought a '12 STX SCAB 5.0. I've had a few other trucks before this...'95 Silverado 1500, '02 Silverado 1500HD, '07 F150 XLT, and '08 F250 Stroker. The '12 has been by far my favorite out of them all. I can't seem to keep my trucks stock and after seeing some of the trucks on this site I am getting plenty of ideas. Just thought I'd introduce myself a little bit. Have a good one!

Looks like we're at opposite ends of the state. I live all of 50 feet from WI.

 

Haha.. Nice.. I live 10 mins from indiana and 15 mins from Kentucky.. By road... I fish in a spot that you can park the boat in like all 3 states lol

 

Oh yeah were definitely from opposite sides of the state haha. But that's cool you're so close to Indiana and Kentucky. How's the fishing down there?

 

Well, This year has sucked so far. Water is epically low, I figured it would be good. But its not. And everyone is having problems. I only catfish on bottom. And i've just recently heard of a few guys catching them on top water.

Hope to get some rain.

 

I hear you on that, I'd love for some rain, any rain this year would be nice. We've got a ton of lakes up here and they're all low too. I haven't caught anything good this year, but a few of my buddies who go out a bit more than I have had some decent catches.
