New guy here
Hi all. I’m new here and looking for answers to help me with the 2018 5.0 i bought used earlier this year. 56k miles and using oil.
I had the dealer do the tsb on it, and it went from using ~2 quarts every 2k miles to using about ~1.5q/2k mi. I’m getting close to the factory warranty expiring and a little concerned about the truck still using oil, so I took it to the dealer today and they topped the oil off, remarked the dipstick, and told me to bring it back in 2k miles from now. At that point I’ll be at 58,600 miles and close to the warranty expiring.
I’m hoping someone who’s maybe had a similar experience can help me out a little.
