Default New guy in Elgin, IL

Hello all....new guy here, new truck owner. What will become my daily driver is a 1997 F150 Flareside with a choo choo customs job done to it from the dealer. I just bought this from the original owner with only 90k on it. It's a V6 5 speed. In pretty decent shape overall. He had done a fair amount of work to it within the last couple of years....new front springs and shocks, ball joints, brake lines, brake caliper, alternator, battery, starter. It's in the shop now, and needs at least front rotors, has a manifold leak (thankfully it doesn't appear to be on the head side of the manifold....I hear those can get real expensive), and the temperature gauge doesn't work. I also ordered the 3M kit to clean up the headlights. It will definitely need a new rear bumper....rusted completely through. But inside and out (besides the rear bumper and a little rust that's starting at the bottom of the driver's side door), it's in really good shape for it's age (and location here in the rust belt).
