The New Guy from Denver
Just dropping a note from the new guy. I have recently bought a 05 Super Crew i believe is the correct wording. I come from the Jeep side of things, needed better gas milage, bout a little KIA, then switched jobs, back to a 12 mile drive to work so back to a 4x4. I coach a girls competitive 12u softball team and needed more room than the KIA so here I am.
I do not know much about the truck. I do know it has a towing package, a leveling kit (size i dont know). Sitting on 33 Baja Claws and black Moto Metal wheels, just like the day I bought it. As far as I know according to the door jam it has 3.73's with the Limited Slip.
I do like to do some mild off roading when I am not coaching, Moab, or some local trailsm I am glad it all ready came with a dent, cause now it's broken in.
The first question I will have of everying is suggestions on fender flares. I am not sure of my backspacing, but it's a pain in the A** to keep clean. Once I place my pics on a website, I will bring them over here.
I have noticed from snooping around a few Denver locals, lets have lunch some time!

I wouldn't mind doing a mild lift, a winch (have not found a good looking winch bumper in my opinion), and some flares. I was thinking of throwing the winch behind the grill and doing something with the tranny cooler to allow for everything to fit.
I got carried away with my Jeep and did the ARB's front and rear 6" lift. Just got way too expensive and chewed up way too many tires. I was going through a set a year regardless of MT's or AT's. So the lift will be mild, I have no idea even where to start on the lift.
I could never get rid of death wobble, I would fix it, and it would come back after a month. I wont go down that path again being this is a daily driver.
