Howdy Ford Lovers,
I recently bought an F-150 XLT from a kid who needed the money. The body is in good shape and I am just going to get it up to snuff for a weekend driver. It has a few problems and so I am in here to get advice from all you good Ford Folk. First problem is that the hood cable apparently broke, so......how do I get the hood up. Pretty tight in there to get a pair of vice grips to try to pull what's left of the cable to open the hood...Any suggestions?

Hood Latch
TY...
Latch is above where a screw driver would go thru. I can feel the cable with fingers when reaching up thru grill. Perhaps I can find a pair of needle nose vice grips, clamp it and wedge it open. Can't take the grill out from the outside, so minimal room to work.
