Hey y’all, I stumbled onto this forum while doing some research on the 2018 2.7 EB motor. I currently drive a 2013 SuperCrew with the 5.0 V8 and it looks like I’ll be upgrading soon and found an 18 SuperCrew in my price range with the 2.7 EB motor. I tow a utility trailer with either a zero turn or a ATV on it quite a bit as well as a travel trailer that weighs 4,500 pounds 3-4 times a year so towing capability is pretty important to me. Seems like everything I’ve found the 2.7 is more than enough for what I do.

Anyways after I found the sticky thread on tips and tricks I decided to join up as it seems like this place is a pretty useful spot to learn all about my eventual new truck. I just wish I would have found this place back when I got the 2013.

 

make sure you get max tow with the 36 gallon fuel tank
