Hello from GA

Picked up a 1989 F150 I6 right before the new year! I was in love with Chevy for such a long time till the Country started to change, the company started to change in my opinion. Started to do research on Mr. Ford and the company, everything I learned just pulled me into the world of FORD! This 89 is my first Truck, also my first I6 and the plan is to replace it while I rebuild it. Which leads me to my first question: What MOTOR and TRANS will replace the stock 89 I6 with NO MODS? Gas and/or Diesel... I pray that everyone has a blessed and safe 2018, hope to talk to you all soon!
