Hi, my name is Tyler Roden. I live in Rossville,ga and work at Shaw Ind. as a maintenance mechanic. Working on big machines comes pretty easy to me but ive never really worked on any vehicles much so i came here for some help/advice along the way. I just picked up a 1992 5.8 F150 4x4 extended cab with 188,000 miles on it for $1,500. It runs and drives great but of course i have to tamper with it and make it my own. right now im thinking tires, exhaust, body work and paint but who knows what it will turn into. i hope to get some good pointers on here, i think im in the right place.

 

Welcome from SoCal. I've never gotten used to the liter designations on motors. A 351 sounds so much better to me. Great price to start. Don't forget to do all of your initial service on all fluids and filters.
