Default New for Ft. Worth, Texas

Hello,
Just bought a used 2012 F150 XL with 9k miles. 5.0L engine and just the basics, needed a work truck. Hope to learn from members here on what to expect and what to look for down the road as I put the miles on. I needed a pickup that could get me back and forth to work safely, deal with the road maniacs/idiots (keep out of their way) and deliver reasonable fuel economy. I have a couple of trail bikes I want to haul out west of here for some country touring/trail riding fun on the weekends when I have the time. My Ford has been set up with a plastic bed liner, welded square tubular support that is bolted to the front of the bed that has tie downs welded to it. There are also additional tie downs located around the top perimeter of the bed; truck came equipped with heavy duty towbar/receiver from Uhaul. Don't know who previous owner was, but it was a rental/lease owner. Some scratches in the plastic dash on the passenger side in cab, but everything else looks new. Underneath the truck all looks new. No bells and whistles, just a/c, am/fm radio, cloth seats, manual windows and locks. Color is appliance white (bright white) and no dings or dents....

Thanks,
Cris
