Default New to the forums

Hey, just got my new to me 2018 F150 XLT 302a with towing package (Not max towing) and a few other goodies thrown in. I haven't owned a pickup since....2009, and that was a 1984 Toyota. I've been more a jeep guy, owning a 98' lifted XJ, a '03 TJ Rubicon and various others. (Rubi was my favorite for offroad, but the XJ was so much more comfortable). Looking to learn a lot about trucks.

Hello,
Very excited today I purchased my 1996 F-150 special. Has about 200k miles on the clock and over is in good shape. The truck has the 5.0l engine, it's RWD and is automatic. It's a PNW truck so not much if any rust. I really don't have much mechanical know-how, but I'm excited to learn from you all. I was former law enforcement, but decided to return to college and finish my degree. For that reason money is going to be a little tight for the next couple years so my truck budget is limited. If any of you know of any cheaper mods or fixes I should do please let me know. Or if I should save up for a something more pricey if it's worth it. I ordered new taillights/leds and a Bluetooth cassette thingy from Amazon. Looking to purchase F-150 badges for the quarter panels if any of you know where I can find those cheap. Anyways look forward to hearing back from the community. Hope you all had a great Easter.

Have a good one,
