Hey guys, been a casual observer of the forum for a while and found a lot of the tips helpful. My trucks are a 1996 F-150 Eddie Bauer 4.9L with a 5 speed and a 1987 F-250 4X4 5.0L with a 4 speed. I wasn't looking for either truck when they sort of fell into my lap (I'm a mechanic at an independent shop). Always been a fan of the 300 six which is why I bought the 1996. The 1987 was rescued from going to the scrap yard by a customer over a bad TFI module (took me 1100 miles of driving before it acted up). I'm happy with both trucks and am looking forward to the insightful discussions on the forum.
