New to forum
Just purchased a 2005 F150 stx, 99450 miles, 1 owner, Great truck so far, Fuel econ. 15+mpg in 1st tank. Had a 1997 chevy silverado, 250k when I sold it.
I decided to buy A Ford because after 2 trans rebuilds and 1 remanf trans, 2 intake gskts ,distributor,power sterring pump, 2 fuel pumps, It was time for a change.
The chevy had 136k miles on it when i purchesed it in 2001.
I have read just about all threads on the F150, mine did have one problem, bumping noise in bed, I found a loose shock bolt and that fixed the problem.
I am not sure of the past mechanical issues with this truck, the car fax was clear except for 4 dmv (TAGS) and new brakes and tires. I appreciate all the information on this sight, keep up the great work.
