Thank you for the kind words. Of corse I want to make my truck better and that is the main reason to mod. But is there a set up that I can shoot for so that I can get a two for one deal?
You're going to get better gas mileage if you put an AF1, Xcal II with custom tuning and exhaust on your truck, but you'll probably only see a small increase in gas mileage. However, you're going to pay close to $1k for all that. We're only talking about 1-2 mpg's, 30-60 miles extra per tank so that works out to about 2-5 gallons of gas (based on 15 mpg's). You'll save yourself anywhere between $6-$15 per fillup (based on $3 a gallon gas). So how long is it going to take to recoup that $1k you spent on those mods?
Everything I have done to my truck actually brought my mileage down (a lift and larger tires will have that effect), but it looks great and it sounds awesome IMO.
