Hello everyone and Thanks for letting me join this forum. I have been a loyal
F150 owner since 2003 and have gotten great service out of 3 F150's since then. Logging more than 600,000 miles on the 3 combines trucks. The thing they all had in common was they all were powered by the 4.6 and that leads me to my question since they have replaced the 4.6 with the 5.0 how does the 5.0 compare to the 4.6 on fuel economy, power and most important reliability? While logging all them miles on the 4.6 I never once had to do a thing to either of the engines. Except put spark plugs in at around 125,000 miles.

Welcome to the forum! I can't help you on the 5.0 question, since I have a 5.4, but I'm sure you will find some advice. You might try posting a thread in the 09+model section of the forum, for futher answers.
