New to the Forum
Hello F150 Forum! I'm new to the Forum, although I've been browsing all of the informative threads while I contemplated purchasing my F150. I ordered my 2012 Tuxedo Black FX4 SCREW Ecoboost in November and it has finally arrived! I took delivery last Monday and so far, I'm blown away! This is my first pick up truck. Driven Chevy Tahoes (3 of 'em) over the last several years. I bought a 2012 Mustang GT last spring and Ford ended up refunding my purchase because of an engine problem (only 4 quarts of oil put in at the factory) which caused damage. Ford replaced the entire engine, but it never ran right afterwards. Anyway, I decided not to get another Mustang, because I was TOO careful with it...afraid to drive it anywhere I had to park it amongst other vehicles! I would get anxious every time there was one speck of dirt on it! Didn't want to be consumed by a car anymore...besides, in Upstate New York, a truck is much much much more practical. When I picked up the truck, I fell instantly in love! This thing is more comfortable than the $58,000 Tahoes I was buying!! I have just about every available option except NAV (never used it in my previous cars) and I can't tell you how happy I am. I got the bed liner sprayed in on delivery day and I'll be installing the Bakflip F1 just as soon as it arrives at my door. I will post pics after it's installed. Sorry for the long intro, but this forum really influenced my decision to purchase this truck. Thanks for that!
