I own a 96' and 13', both XLT 4WD. The 96' has tilt steering that moves all over the place, I believe it's the upper bearing. Is there an easy, economical fix until I'm able to get a replacement column??

Been looking at programers for my 13' ecoboost, I'm a carpenter and use it for work, but drive alot and want more horsepower/ less turbo lag, especially driving on Illinois roads with wonderful drivers. If someone could give a little insight before I spend the $, it'd be greatly appreciated.
