Checking in. I recently purchased a used 2006 F150 XLT 4x4 from a small local dealer. It has 137K miles, service history unknown. Getting it looked over tomorrow by an independent wrench.

Only noticeable problems when I bought it were an intermittent 'skip' in the engine and some tranny bucking when under load. I got it back from the mechanic this morning - he found the spark plugs were original but other than that the previous owner had kept it up pretty well. I let him replace the plugs (3 broke during extraction) and the drive belt, which was cracking. Took it for a long drive afterwards and it's running great.
