Default New to the boards, and Fords

Stumbled across the site after looking for information on my first Ford. Got rid of my Dakota after finding a 2001 SuperCrew 4x4. It's pushing 100k miles, body is in perfect shape, except for the rocker panels, which I am going to replace.
It's a big step up in power to the 5.4, and pulls my boat around like it's not even there.
So far, I can't figure out why I hated Fords all those years. Hopefully it's a keeper.

Already did the Gott's Mod, pulled the baffle out of the intake tube, and seafoamed it. $20 and a couple of hours of tinkering sure did wake it up.
Thanks for the info.

Welcome to the forums. I recently gave a 1980 with 253,000 miles to a friend that helped me dig a ditch for electrical power. It's still running stron.
