hello everyone, new member checking in. i have an 85 reg cab long bed that im restoring. it was my granfathers truck that was left to me when he passed. its a 302 efi truck with 78k on the clock. plans include a 5.0 HO swap and building a control arm style front suspension 3x2 box tube chassis to stock body drop it without cutting the floor. i plan to 4 link the back. i will be putting it on bags with an engine driven compressor. the truck came from my grandfather in pretty good shape but it needs a touch of rear wheel arch work and some fresh paint. he always talked about doing the things i have listed but lost his legs to diabetes about 10 years before he passed, making it fairly hard to work on. so to continue his memory and finish what he started here i am.

A little about me, im 30, live in ohio and am a service/parts manager at a small truck equipment company. i also plan to find a early model 2004 f-250 with a 7.3 gotta love the leaf spring front end

my screen name is from the movie grandmas boy, all of my friends started calling my truck the grey bush (because its so old) after seeing that movie so i thought it was fitting
