Hey everyone.. So I am completely new to Fords, Trucks, and domestic trucks in general. I have always been an import car guy but have found that a truck is much more practical for me. I just picked up a 97 F150 XLT 4x4 4.6L. But I'm starting to not enjoy it very much. It had no CEL when I picked it up and then it came on about an hour of driving it. I have just got a CEL P0407 and found that I may have to clean the ports for the EGR. Just haven’t had time to start pulling it apart. I have also found that my gauge cluster is bad. I also have an issue where the oil pressure dips under acceleration and the light comes on some times. The sensor was already replaced by the previous owner, so I am unsure if it is the cluster or actual problem. So we will see where this adventure takes me.
