Has anyone bought the new XLT with the black cloth seats and had the white spots showing up on their seats? I have been going round and round with the dealer on this for 3 weeks now. They have shampooed and rescotchgarded my seats twice, put in new seats and every time the next morning the spots reappear. I know there was an issue with the Escapes back in 2009 for the same problem. Any recent purchasers have this issue? Otherwise totally LOVE my new truck...hated to give up my old 2002 F150 4x4 Sport but I was getting tired of being at the mechanic. Traded it for the new Magma Red F150 FX4 with a 3.5" lift and some nice 20" tis rims and 35" ridge grapplers.

No, it is not, I contacted Ford and haven't heard back from them yet but they had the same problem with the 2008-2009 ford escapes, there was a tsb 09-23-3 out on it.
09-23-3 NOV 09 Interior - White Stains On Cloth Seat Covers, If you google this you will see that most people think it is normal but on a brand new truck I find it unacceptable and have been fighting about it since I saw them on my truck after I went to pick it up from the dealer. Need to get the word out so FORD will do something about it. They were XLT seats.
I have it appear on the drivers right shoulder. I have cleaned it and then it will randomly come back in a month or so. Bought my 2018 STX F150 in Oct of 18. Have not contacted the dealership yet.

Look up the technical service bulletin tsb 09-23-3. After 500 miles of driving back and forth they finally gave me leather seats at no charge. I had the exact same issue, nothing will correct it except to have new seat covers put on. Keep fighting it, no way should you have to deal with this ugliness on your seats after spending $$$$$ on a brand new truck!!!! Don't settle until they replace the seat covers, haven't had the issue after that. If it is from Bozard Ford they know about this, talk to the Head guy or you can also contact Ford Corporate (google their number) or you can find them on facebook and they will pm with you, when they got involved they made sure the issue was taken care of.
