help and ideas to get truck alive again and not selling the truck

originally was an EFI system but I'm converting to carb

15 years ago it was running with an EFI system until it died once stop and about to park it it shut off on its own without turning the key off but I need help and ideas to get it running without the EFI system and straight on carburetor it's a 5.0l 302 engine
