Default My 1975 work in progress

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows what might be wrong with my truck. It has been sitting for about 2 and a half years so I changed the points condesor plugs wires cap and rotor and I still cant get the dang thing to run right. It runs extreamly rough at an idle in gear and it is spitting through the carb even though the motor only got ran for about 8 months before it got parked after being rebuilt. It is a 302 that was built as if it were going into a pro stock car but had a real mild cam put in it. It has plenty of power to get down the road but it just does not run very smooth like it use to. Does anyone have any ideas. I will take all the advise I can get it is my first ford. I use to drive chevy and have converted so I am learning all over again. Thanks

Welcome to the board.

Sorry, I can't offer any advice, but I think some of the other members may be able to.
