Hello all. Thanks for letting me into the forum. I am looking forward to the wealth of knowledge and experience you all have. This is my third Ford truck. Started in a 1979 F100. Then a 1986 F150 XLT. Now I’m in a 2007 F150 XLT. I’ve just put a new front end and a new transmission in the truck. Got it back from the shop with a dead battery and bad cylinder 5 misfire. Noticed a lot of oil blow by when I went to change the plug and coil. Regardless, things improved with the new plug and coil. At least till the following morning. It’s missing even worse now. I found me a parts truck. Looks like I’m gonna do an 4.6L engine build. If I can find a way to haul it.

Welcome and good luck with the build. Is there currently a 5.4 in the truck?
