Greetings! (please put your guns away for a moment...................thanks) I'm a Toyota man. BUT! I just recently bought a used 2011 Ford F-150 4x4 XLT 5.0 with 166k miles from the Kansas City Auction tow lot. Red in color. Great looking truck with just some scrapes and bumps. Paid $6,295 out the door in an "as-is condition." I'm a DIY guy. I knew going into this that I could be getting a lemon. But I do enjoy the challenge of figuring stuff out. I'm excited to be on this forum; learning and sharing information as I fix it up. I'm not a mechanic, but I have gotten so far as to change a head gasket in a 4 cylinder sentra so you know a basic level of my (in)experience. Happy to be here and tackle this truck as my next project. It's got several codes/runs like rusted bucket down a pebble path/probable oil leak/and only starts in neutral. Let the games begin!
