Default Leveling 09 Lariat

I would like a little help in the decision process with leveling my 09 Lariat 4X4. Although I love the look of the big oversized tires, I don't plant to increase my tire size for fuel mileage. I currently have 275/55 R 20. I want to level the front of my truck, but I don't want the front of my truck to be higher than the rear of the truck. The local truck shop said 2.5 rough country would do what I was wanting, but I am concerned it might make the front end slightly higher than the rear. I'm thinking about a 2 inch. Does anybody have any suggestions? What brands/size of leveling kits? I am only interested in taking the rake out of the front of my truck. I don't want my truck to look silly because I don't have enough tire to fill the wheel well

The factory size tires are 275 55 20 usually. My truck had a front leveling kit when I bought it, guessing it was a 2.5" but possibly it was 3". My truck sat about 1/4" higher in the front, so I had to use readylift blocks to raise the rear 1"+. If you are running factory wheels (offset +44) it is possible to run a 35" tire with only leveling kit. Aftermarket wheels will have different offsets (such as +14, or +25), the farther they stick out past the fender, the shorter the tire you can turn with, usually.

I would recommend a 2" kit and at the minimum go to a 275 60 20. I think a 275 65 20 or maybe 295 60 20 would look great though. A tire that is taller can help fuel economy at highway speeds, it allows for lower RPM at the same speed. A fat tire is good for burning lots of fuel.
