Default Landed on Ford.

1st truck was a 01 silverado, hated it. Had it for 3 months and sold it.
2nd truck was a 06 tacoma x-runner supercharged. Fun truck, but after 3 supercharges and a blown motor i was done. Needed a bigger interior anyway so i got rid of it.
3rd truck was a brand new 2013 ram 1500 bighorn loaded out. Loved the truck but i bought a house and was unsure about being able to afford the truck note. 4th truck was a 2015 used tacoma trd had a 3in lift kit and was really nice for about 30k miles. Then the first front differential went out. THen 5k miles later another went out. Toyota then denied warranty claim since the lift was the culprit. Even though they installed it.

I had been looking for a f250 for quite some time, but couldnt bring myself to spend so much more money on a truck that i didnt need.

During my search for the f250 I found a MINT 2012 F150 lariat 5.0 4x4 with 35k miles on it for 25k$ so i picked it up last week. Carfax was immaculate, the service had always been done at ford and it came certified from ford.

So far i love it, I really enjoy being behind a V8 again, couldnt stand hearing the V6 scream up bridges while towing my mudboat with the tacoma. I've allready ordered weather techs, tailgate assist, and tailgate auto lock.

I want to delete/colormatch all the chrome on the exterior of the truck so im going to be ordering a new grille, headlights, tail lights and getting the rest of it color matched. Looking at the spyder C-Bar headlights and the anzo tails. Anyone have any experience with either of these?

Also looking at doing the bilstein level (allmost did it on the ram but got rid of it before i could order it). Any thoughts on this?

On the ram they had a exhaust system by Mufflex, that just bolted in place of the muffler. No welding or anything was required so that was nice. Is there something similar for these trucks?

Will post up pictures later!
